A day late posting, but I do want to wish you a very happy birthday, Steezie_k!

Ok, I have played a little bit now. It took me 4 hours to create my first sim! I customised everything. There is not enough hair styles to suit me, but I am sure the custom content creators out there will remedy that soon. I love the feature that lets you change the color of everything. I colored the outfits, the shoes, the hair, the eyes, adjusted facial features and played around with her personality. I then went to build her a house and didn't get too far before I was falling asleep at the keyboard. I will take pictures later to post for you to see.

I am not too sure I like the very round faces and such, after the Sims 2, these almost look fat. Oh, speaking of which, as you already know, you can make fat sims too. I am running the game on my laptop too, so it does not take as much to run as I thought it would.

I was looking at the updated info about the Sims 3 (I bought it already and am just waiting for the release day, so I check on it occasionally) and the best news I saw there was that they are taking out the need for a internet connection to play it! No nasty added hidden stuff! They listened to us!
So far, I am liking what I am seeing about the game and i can't wait to play it and see for myself if it is what they say it is. :)

Koko, who was abandoned by his former owners and for whom I am trying to find a "forever" home. I can't keep him because I live with my parents and they have a crochety old tuxedo cat (black and white) who keeps getting attacked by young Koko. I plan to take him to my vet and get his shots up to date and then leave him with them for placement. I trust them to find him a good home because they have been good about doing that in the past and he's a really special cat.



Koko loves to lay on his back and have his belly rubbed. He purrs loudly when you do that.

So, I was playing Sims 2 last night and I like to play with then Testingcheatsenabled, but I could not get my cheat window to open.  I tried ctrl,shift, c and shift,ctrl c, and all three at once, and got nothing.  Usually it works well for me, no matter the order I hit the keys, but last night it just would not work.  I left the house I was in and went to the neighborhood screen and it still would not work.  Any ideas?

This is the birthday of one of the boys, not sure which, but probably Jason. I was not taking good pics when Archie was a toddler.

Too cute! Shiro is not too happy about it, but Jason is loving him.


Shiro and Shigwa had 3!!! kittens, 3!!!. I gave away Madame Butterfly and kept Abby and Shawn. And oddly enough, Benjamin rolled up the wants for Madame Butterfly, after she was gone.

Shawn. He grew up to look identical to Abbi, so I did a makeover on him. As you can see, he's a darker version of Shiro. He is so much better as he is, since there are no male calico's in nature except for freak exceptions.

Jason is so happy to be a child now, he stands on his head for Archie's amusement. He grew up well and is a really cute kid, just like his older brother.

I am a big fan of everything Sims.  I would blog but I have not figured out how to do that.  Once I figure it out, I will show you some pics of my Sims family if I can find the screen shots I took of them.  I have only found one shot and that one not too good.

With a little help from a friend, I found all my pics and I am taking better ones now.  All I need now is to figure out how to post them and caption them
